About Nika

Nika – short for Veronica – began her Yoga journey in high school when the stress of being a pubescent teenager and trying to achieve perfection was VERY real.

Her journey took her across multiple formats including Vinyasa, Bikram, Iyengar, Power Vinyasa, and almost everything inbetween. Her love and passion for Dance took her to Zumba classes far and wide to fit the high energy bliss void that seemed to never be quite filled in by her yoga practices.

… That is until June of 2016 when Buti Yoga found Nika.

One of Nika’s close friends ended up in a random Buti Yoga class with an awesome instructor and her friend absolutely knew that Nika would LOVE this format so she recommended it. After doing one quick sample class… she was hooked. That day Nika signed up for her 200 Hour RYT with Buti Yoga and her love and passion for the practice started to blossom.

What’s not to love? Tribal, Dance, Hip-Hop, Cardio, Plyo, Strength, Flexibility, Flow, Sweat… the list keeps going!

Nika completed the 200 HR intensive program across four months in the beginning of 2017. One of the main foundations of the Buti Yoga life is the formation of a tribe of women that truly empower each other and aim to enrich each other’s lives in any way possible. We are each other’s cheerleaders and supporters. We are the shoulders and podiums that we need. We are here to celebrate life and celebrate each other!

Nika is also an IIN Certified Health Coach, a Certified Financial Planner(r) Professional, and has her MBA in Marketing Management.
